I hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications and have been working in the marketing industry for over 3 years. During this time, I freelanced several branding and design projects and have discovered that my passion for design, art, and tech can be combined and fulfilled through the UX/UI field.
As a Fine Artist at heart, art and design have always been deep passions of mine. In terms of digital design, I have been creating brand identities and brand guidelines for years. However, I only recently started looking into UX/UI design and fell in love with it because it combines both the creative and the critical thinking aspect of creating digital products. Consequently, I made the full time shift in 2022. Working on a project from the ground up gives me a true sense of accomplishment and the UX/UI process gives me that satisfaction. I'm proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
With over 3 years of experience in the marketing field, and more than 5 years in the digital design field, my goals are to keep learning about UX/UI Design and work on more interesting projects.
If you can't find me at my computer, I'm either scuba diving, painting/drawing, or working out! One of my favorite hobbies is exploring the Red Sea by Scuba Diving! I have an Advanced and Deep Diving PADI license and am looking at exploring new dive sites around the Red Sea! I've also just recently earned by Free-diving certification, a newly found passion of mine!
Wireframes
Wireframes are a crucial tool in the design process, providing a blueprint for the layout and functionality of a digital product. To create effective wireframes, it's important to understand the user's needs and goals, as well as the requirements and constraints of the project.
Digital Design
To create effective designs, it's important to understand the needs, goals, and behaviors of the target audience. This can be achieved through user research and testing, which can uncover insights about user preferences and pain points. Once this information is gathered, designers can create wireframes and prototypes to iterate and refine the design.
Art Direction
To develop an effective art direction, it's important to understand the brand's essence, its target audience, and the intended message. This can be achieved through research and analysis, which can uncover insights about the brand's history, values, and cultural context. Once this information is gathered, designers can create a visual strategy that defines the art direction, including elements such as color palettes, typography, imagery, and tone of voice.
